Advanced Legal Documents Preparation
|Description||Use of office technology skills in preparation of legal documents by paralegals based on hypothetical situations drawn from various areas of law.|
|Prerequisites||ENGL 1301 and successful completion of 12 semester hours of LGLA courses.|
Define and properly use terminology related to legal document preparation; draft transaction and litigation documents based on hypothetical fact situation; and demonstrate an understanding of the application of transaction and litigation documents.
At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Select appropriate forms for, and draft, both transactional and litigation legal documents on-line.
3. Conduct effective, complete, legal research on a case issue.
3. Apply ethical standards in research and drafting documents
